Friday, January 20, 2012, 11:49 PM Jay Two haha and we've been J2s for almost two weeks now it seems really insane that the most important test of our lives is only 10 months away. and from now till then there's still so many other. perhaps not as important on paper. but then again if everything was determined by on the paper statistics there'll never be the underdog returning in triumph or the rags to riches story. by extrapolation of past results i guess. and to a certain extent i'm glad that the school has made certain choices for me and forced me out of certain programs so that i can focus on studies. Being consistent isnt easy at all and sometimes i just feel that its so damn pointless. But i think for the first time in my life i understand (kinda) what it means by being stressed out cause of academics. it was never really in the equations of things for me i guess. my life consisted of projects and cca and whatnot. which isnt a bad thing. i grew a lot and had tons of fun. but then now i'm just looking at the bleak one year ahead and i'm just going shit dude i better buck the hell up. starting with chemistry. and math. the two of my shittiest subjects. miracles do happen though. haha in my case i hope it won't take a miracle but more of like a gradual process. where i overcome my fear of chem and math and start doing well. So that at least i won't be in the list of failures in time to come. and perhaps, maybe i can just get that A i need in my As. yeah it sounds like some overachieving bs but then when it hits you that half of your batchmates have average Bs and Cs, enjoying a relatively less stressful period, you start to think what the hell have i been up to seriously? It's just down to discipline and mindsets now i guess. If i can go for runs and push myself to do unnecessary painful stuff like individual PT and what not. I can do this. First target, CT1.
